Simulation & Theory
Research members delicated themselves to numerical simulation based on theoretical hypotheses are also assets for us to promote multi-messenger astronomy. The high energy astrophysics group in ICRR aims to study various high-energy astrophysical objects, which are sources of cosmic rays, via numerical simulation and theoretical methods. Space and Planetary Group belengs to Department of Earth and Planetary Science, School of Science, the University of Tokyo. Research fields of this group are space physics, and planetary science for both solar-system bodies and exoplanets.
